Last Minute Change in Programming Bumps "Geraldo At Large" Rail Safety Segment

Geraldo apologizes, but tonight's regular "Geraldo At Large" program segment on rail safety is being superseded by a two-hour special from 9 to 11 pm on breaking developments in the death of Michael Jackson and the Gov. Sanford sex scandal. So it goes in the world of TV news magazines. It's never easy for rail safety to compete in the media against such things as the death of celebrities or the sex lives of politicians. But stay tuned, Geraldo still wants to do the segment when things calm down, and we will continue to engage any invitation to give voice to rail worker's safety concerns so the public will hear labor's side of the story.
