About

Charles C. Goetsch and his partner George J. Cahill, Jr.  founded Cahill Goetsch & Perry P.C. over 30 years ago. Their practice is focused on railroad law with an emphasis on railroad injuries and rail safety matters, especially helping injured workers recover under the FELA and secure protection from retaliation under the FRSA. Charles has tried over 50 federal court jury trials and handled many appeals at the United States Circuit Court of Appeals level. More than a dozen of his cases have resulted in multi-million dollar verdicts or settlements, and he argued the ground-breaking case of Metro North Commuter R.R. v. Buckley before the United States Supreme Court. Charles created and maintains the leading resource for Federal Rail Safety Act matters, the "FRSA Library" at www.trainlaw.com
